Pagliarini POV built Support Network to help caregivers and recipients connect even when they are far away. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the app.

Information We Collect

  • Support codes, nicknames, and time limits you enter to connect caregivers and recipients.
  • App and device identifiers needed to operate the service, such as a locally stored app key and a push notification token.
  • Language/locale setting used during registration.
  • Check-in and service activity, including basic device events (e.g., screen on/unlock), background service status, and last-seen timestamps needed to keep the service active.
  • Subscription and purchase information from Google Play Billing, such as product identifiers, purchase tokens/verification data, and subscription status.
  • Advertising data from Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), which may include device identifiers (e.g., advertising ID) and usage information required to show rewarded ads.

Camera Use

  • The camera is used only to scan QR codes for entering someone else’s support code.
  • We do not store or transmit camera images.

How We Use Information

  • To link caregivers and recipients, show last-seen status, and alert caregivers when recipients are absent for a long time.
  • To keep the check-in service running and notify you when needed.
  • To grant rewarded time when you watch an ad.
  • To process, verify, and restore paid subscriptions.
  • To improve reliability and app functionality.

Sharing

We share information with service providers only as necessary to operate the app, including:

  • Google Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications.
  • Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for rewarded ads.
  • Google Play Billing for subscription purchases and verification.

We do not sell your personal information.

Permissions

  • Camera: scan QR codes for support codes.
  • Notifications: alerts about absent care recipients, show service status.
  • Foreground service / battery optimization: keep the monitoring service active.
  • Internet/network state: communicate with our servers.

Data Retention

  • We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service (including maintaining active subscriptions) and comply with legal obligations.
  • You may request deletion by contacting us at pagliariniproj@gmail.com.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information.

Children’s Privacy

Support Network is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Choices

  • You can decline camera access and enter support codes manually.
  • You can disable notifications in your device settings.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in the Google Play Store.
